Drama

Hi,

My name is Sarina Kledzik and I am the sponsor of the Drama Club and I direct the Fall Play and co-direct the Spring Musical.  I used to live in Los Angeles where I worked as an actress before I decided to move back to Chicago to become a teacher.  I have worked at Eisenhower for 12 years and I have loved every second of it.  I love introducing students to my passion for the arts and I hope they enjoy their experiences in the drama program as much as I have.  

 

Upcoming meeting times for Drama Club: First informational meeting of the school year is Friday September 1st at 3:30 in room 136.  Regular meeting times will be every other Friday from 3:30 to 4:15 in 136.   No experience necessary! We play improv games, work on acting techniques, help with the fall play and the spring musical and go see LOTS of live theater!   

 

Fall Play: The fall play this year is "Clue" and I am so excited because it is a personal favorite of mine!  Auditions are Monday 8/21 and Tuesday 8/22 at 3:30 in room 136.  You do not need to have anything prepared and no experience necessary! We performed "12 Angry Jurors" last year and it was a huge hit and I am so proud of the students  It was such a fantastic experience to work with such talented performers.  Pictures are posted on this page.
