Mixed Choir 621 
Mixed choir is for beginning singers and open to all students. Students will learn the basic fundamentals
for reading music, proper vocal technique, and appreciation for all styles and time periods. This is a great
class to register for anyone interested in music! This class is an elective that meets during the school day.
 
Honors Chorale 644
Honors recommendation is based on student involvement in the choral program, leadership within the
department, and grade point average. Students receive honors credit on their transcripts for this course. Honors students perform advanced music and travel to festivals while performing throughout the country. This class specializes in advancement of treble voices.
 
Honors Concert Choir 642
Honors recommendation is based on student involvement in the choral program, leadership within the
department, and grade point average. Students receive honors credit on their transcripts for this course. Honors students perform advanced music and travel to festivals while performing throughout the country. This class focuses on choral music for mixed voices. 
 
Express Show Choir
The Award Winning Express Show Choir is comprised of the finest singers and dancers at Eisenhower
High School. They rehearse outside of the school day and perform at concerts, community events,
school activities, and compete throughout the midwest. Auditions for show choir are held August 29, 30, and 31. Any Eisenhower student is welcome to audition but enrollment in choir as an elective is highly recommended! 
 
Musical
Musical is a theatrical production featuring singing, dancing, and acting. Rehearsals are held daily January
through April after school. All students are welcome to audition. Cast size and lead roles vary. Auditions
will be held in December. 
 
First Class Acapella
This is a select ensemble featuring 12-16 singers that sing acapella, pop, and jazz music. This is an auditioned group that rehearses on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. during Resource Hour. This group performs throughout the community and at choir concerts.
 
Tri-M National Honor Society
Tri-M is a nationally recognized honor society. Students are recommended by the music staff to be a member. Requirements are involvement in the music program, performance in music ensemble, and academic achievements in all classes. Tri-M members will have the opportunity to experience various live performances throughout the area.
