Bradley Wright

Education Background:
My name is Bradley Wright and I have been teaching at Eisenhower for 17 years.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Science Education Degree from Indiana University Northwest and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership Degree from Lewis University.
Grading Policy:
I follow the District 218 Grading Policies for grade achievement as well as the weighting between the three categories of Common Assessments, Other Assessments and Practice.  My Expectation and Grading Policy document can be found below.
Retake Policies and Rules for Tests, Quizzes and other assignments:
Tests, Quizzes and even homework type assignments can be re-done.

Test Retakes:  Retakes must be completed before the next unit test is administered. Retake and make-up versions of tests may be different than the original test.  Tests can be retaken before school, after school or in the Testing Center when available. A new comprehensive study guide (supplied by me) must be completed by the student and turned in for grading. When graded, I will go over any deficiencies with the student. Once we are done with the retake study guide, an appointment can be made to take the new test. Please see the  Retake Policy and Rules Document below.

Quizzes:  Retakes must be completed before the next unit test is administered. Retake and make-up versions of quizzes may be different than the original quiz.  Quizzes can be retaken before school or after school only.  The original graded quiz must be signed by the student's parent or legal guardian before the retake quiz can be scheduled. Quizzes can be retaken more than once.  Preparation for quiz retakes is up to the student.

Other Assignments:   Assignments always have a specific due date.  Some missed homework assignments or class assignments can be re-done for credit, whether it was graded or just a completion task.  These must be completed within one week of the original assignment due date.  In order to receive credit the student must come into my classroom before school or after school and do the entire assignment in front of me. Walking in with an assignment already completed will not count for credit.
