(650) Orchestra 1

The Orchestra 1 course at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School is a one-year course that offers students one unit of credit. This course is open to all students, grades 9-12, with no previous orchestra instrument experience. Students enrolled in Orchestra 1 will be graded based on their musical proficiency on their new instrument. Students will earn the right to learn the instrument of their choice based on the results of a placement exam given at the beginning of the school year. In addition to their daily responsibilities, students will be expected to participate in the Spring Orchestra Concert on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 6:00pm in the PAC. Students are highly encouraged to develop and apply their skills to eventually display their talents in the Orchestra 2 course the following year(s).
