As the administrator in charge of student services, I help oversee the social workers, psychologists, counselors and school nurse at Eisenhower. I also supervise standardized testing as required by the state of Illinois.
I have worked for CHSD 218 since 2007, but began working in education in 1998. I've worked as a school social worker, counselor or administrator since 2002. I have worked in both private and public schools as well as therapeutic day and residential schools.
The work that student services provides in supporting student success is vital. These offices assist with post-secondary planning as well social-emotional and physical wellness. They collaborate with teachers, administration, coaches, families and community agencies to coordinate needed services.
