Kevin Mitchem

 

Hello, my name is Kevin Mitchem, the School Interventionist at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School! I started here at IKE in 2018. My role is to coordinate with and provide support to students who experience a medical leave of absence. I work side-by-side with the student's family, teachers, counselor, and social worker so that their academic and social/emotional experience here at Eisenhower is not impeded by their medical absence. Additionally, I staff our ATTAIN Room periods 1-2 and 6-8. This class is meant to provide academic support while helping students develop their executive functioning skills.

 

After school, I coach both basketball and track & field. This is my 8th year coaching boys basketball and my 9th year as a boys track & field coach.
