Ms. Hernandez

Hello!

 

My name is Marissa Hernandez and I am a Social Worker at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School. I have been with the district since Fall 2023. I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from Northern Illinois University in 2020 and my Masters in Social Work from Aurora University in 2023.

 

I work with students with last names Ri-Z and with our ELL students. I help students navigate the challenges of school and life stressors so that they can better focus on their academics. For special education students, I collaborate with students to make progress towards their IEP goals and beyond. I strive to be a supportive adult in the building and to advocate for student needs.
