Mrs. Delejewski: English 1, Film & Literature, and Creative Writing
Educational Background
After graduating with a degree in English Literature and Language from Benedictine University (Lisle, IL), I was fortunate to work as an English teacher at Delta Learning Center for seven years. The classes I taught at Delta included English 2, English 3, English 4, and Modern English. While working at Delta, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as a certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais, IL). In 2014, I transferred to Eisenhower High School, where I currently teach English 1, Film and Literature, and Creative Writing. I recently became certified through Olivet Nazarene University to teach English Language Learners. In addition to my work in District 218, I also serve as a mentor to Teaching Scholars for the Golden Apple Foundation.
On a Personal Note...
When I am not enjoying teaching and learning, I love spending time with my family, planning trips to different cities, learning about plants and gardening, and exploring bookstores and libraries.
