ABOUT ME:
I have had the pleasure of working in CHSD 218 since 2017 as an LEA Representative and 504 Coordinator. Over the years, I have worked with our excellent special education/support services teams and building staff at DDE, ATP, and ABS. My position is currently located at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School, where I facilitate and document all the IEP and Section 504 meetings.
As the LEA (Local Education Agent) Representative, I collaborate with special education staff on students' disability services and supports, assist in developing IEP documents, and facilitate IEP meetings for the special education student population. I also collaborate with general education and support staff regarding students' accommodations, develop 504 Plans, and facilitate meetings for general education students with 504 accommodations. I keep teachers and support staff informed of those students' educational needs and services, and update the documentation.
