I am a Certified School Social Worker. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the Illinois State University and my Masters in Social Work from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I started working within District 218 in 2021. I work to support both students and families to achieve social, emotional, and academic success. Specifically, I work closely with the Cardinal Community. Through group and individual counseling, I aim to equip students with essential skills to manage life stressors. I assist students through the implementation of brief counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, and a variety of tailored interventions to promote academic and personal success. I have a specific interest in Anger and Emotion Management. Additionally, I assist Homebound students.
I am proud to be a member of your team to assist, support, and guide students to the necessary support and services inside as well as outside of the school.
