Aida Maravillas, Certified School Social Worker & LCSW
My name is Aida Maravillas. I am a certified school social worker who has been serving students and families of the Eisenhower High School community for 17 years. I have Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams College of Social Work.
I work with students and families to offer support that will help students demonstrate academic progress. I work with both regular and special education students by providing brief counseling services, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, family consultation, and a variety of other interventions depending on your student's needs. I also have a special interest in working to support pregnant and parenting teens.
I can assist in connecting you with resources both in the school setting and in the community to support your student's behavioral health needs.
I work with the following groups of students:

- BUILD Program
- Foundations Program
- Students identified as English Language Learners whose primary spoken language is Spanish
I can be reached from 8am - 3:25pm Monday - Friday, on school days when students are in attendance.
