My name is Aida Maravillas. I am a social worker who has been serving students and families of the Eisenhower High School community for 14 years. I have Bachelors Degree in Communications from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago Jane Addams College of Social Work.
I work with students and families to offer support that will help students demonstrate academic progress. I work with both regular and special education services by providing brief counseling services, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, family consultation, and a variety of other interventions depending on your student's needs. I also have a special interest in working to support pregnant and parenting teens.
I can assist with connecting you with resources both in the school setting and in the community to support your student's emotional health needs.
I am on the targeted assistant team for students whose last names begin with Mi - U. I also work with students identified as English Language Learners who speak Spanish. I can be reached by phone at 708-59-6300 ext. 4481 or via email at email@example.com
