District Retake Policy

  •       We believe that a uniform grading policy that emphasizes student mastery with a retesting component strongly supports our shared vision of high expectations and equity and opportunity.
  •       As we continue to fine tune formative assessments, we will be responsive to struggling students earlier in the teaching and learning process necessitating fewer re-takes.  
  •       Retakes will be offered to ALL students who request them, and will be encouraged for those students who receive a “D” or “F” on an assessment.
  •       We believe in the power of the true professional learning communities – coming together and supporting each other to assure success for ALL of our students.
