We believe that a uniform grading policy that emphasizes student mastery with a retesting component strongly supports our shared vision of high expectations and equity and opportunity.
As we continue to fine tune formative assessments, we will be responsive to struggling students earlier in the teaching and learning process necessitating fewer re-takes.
Retakes will be offered to ALL students who request them, and will be encouraged for those students who receive a “D” or “F” on an assessment.
